Brian Gitta

Brian Gitta is an entrepreneur with a computer science background interested in using design thinking, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to foster an innovative culture focused on the creation of solutions to solve some of the world's hardest problem—starting with those in our communities. Brian is a co-founder of Matibabu, a kit to diagnose malaria. Connected with a custom piece of hardware, a patient’s malaria status can be known with two minutes. Matibabu addresses malaria disease management by offering cost-effective rapid early diagnosis of malaria, which reduces the amount of medication, duration of treatment, and number of people suffering severe effects of malaria infection.
