David Matusiak

David is an information security expert and a 20-year veteran of the IT industry. He has provided consulting services to dozens of organizations, including Cisco Systems, IBM, and the US Environmental Protection Agency. As president of the Eastern Carolina Chapter of InfraGard, David has both the passion and the desire to serve the community by helping to protect US critical infrastructure, especially at the local level. David earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Auburn University, and has several information security certifications (including CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, and GPEN). He has a keen interest in privacy issues and brings an informed perspective to their effect on the digital landscape.
