Melissa Bimé is founder and CEO of Infiuss, a digital supply-chain platform that gives hospitals access to ready-to-use blood. Bime founded Infiuss in 2015, at age 18, while working in a hospital where she witnessed many heartbreaking situations as a result of avoidable conditions, often due to the simple lack of available compatible blood. Her company uses a blood bank management platform to address an increase of blood shortages across hospitals in Cameroon. Infiuss was a 2019 winner of USAID's Inclusive Health Access Prize.
